hi again!
My name is Julia, but pretty much everyone calls me Jules. I'm a division I college soccer player at Syracuse University, and a journalism student in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications there. Over the summer, I work at a bagel store–I love the free food and getting to talk to people! But even when the store gets busy and there isn't a lot of time to chat, I believe that you can learn a lot about someone from their bagel order. Paying attention to small details like that is something that excites me, and I aim to bring that same energy to journalism–through curiosity and intentional storytelling. I think that everything has an interesting story if you're willing to look for it.
my bagel order:
I can't say that I have a consistent bagel order–I honestly change it up every time. But if I could get Trader Joes' pumpkin cream cheese on every bagel, I would. I like to think that this reflects my adventurous and unique personality. I'm not someone who likes to follow the crowd, and I embrace my own quirks.
